Larry Alamillo Larry E. Alamillo
President

Larry has worked in the construction business for nearly 20 years. Larry’s primary role at Alamillo Rebar. is focusing on estimating and operations. After receiving a Bachelor’s in Science degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA, Larry went to work with Kiewit Pacific Company as a project engineer and project manager within CA and NV.

In 1997, Larry co-founded a reinforcing steel company in Northern CA, managing all company operations. Some of Larry’s career projects include helping construct the Carquinez Bridge, retrofitting the Benicia Bridge, the extension of Bart extension, and building the Beacon in downtown San Francisco adjacent to the SF Giants stadium.

Joe Alamillo Joe M. Alamillo
Executive Vice President

Joe has been a leader in the reinforcing steel industry for 47 years. At Alamillo Rebar, Joe’s primary role is bidding and procuring contracts. Joe founded Alamillo Reinforcing Steel Corporation in 1975, executing projects Moscone Convention Center West, Marriot Hotel, San Jose Shark’s stadium and many other high profile projects in the greater Bay Area.


Joe co-founded a reinforcing steel company in Northern CA, managing all operations. Some of Joe’s career projects include helping construct the Bart extension to the San Francisco airport, Carquinez Bridge, retrofitting the Benicia Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge, and phase I of the Bay Bridge.

Brett Alamillo Brett J. Alamillo
Vice President of Operations

Brett has worked in the reinforcing steel industry for nearly 30 years with extensive field and management experience. At Alamillo Rebar, Brett is responsible for detailing, fabrication, and field operations. Brett has knowledge and expertise in all types of post-tension structure, including parking garages and high-rise buildings. Some of Brett’s key projects include the Moscone Convention Center and the Marriot Hotel.

Chris Pereira Christopher A. Pereira, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

At Alamillo Rebar, Chris is responsible for the functions of accounting, finance and long term planning. Before joining Alamillo Rebar, Chris worked at the accounting firm of Johnston, Gremaux & Rossi, LLP (JGR) for thirteen years. At JGR, he was a partner specializing in auditing and taxation of construction companies’. In addition, Chris is also an expert in business valuation principles for privately held businesses.

Chris received a Bachelor’s in Science degree in accounting from St. Mary’s College in 1994 and became a CPA in July 1997. Chris has passed the Series 7 General Securities Registered Representative Exam and the Series 63 Uniform Agent State Law Exam.

Chris Pereira Sudhir Ghimire

Sudhir has 10 years of construction/engineering experience including over three years experience as a rebar estimator. Sudhir has been with Alamillo Rebar since its inception and is responsible for estimating, value engineering, design-build and overseeing all estimating processes. Sudhir possesses strong computer skills and has been instrumental in developing bidding, scheduling, optimizing and other decision support systems for Alamillo Rebar.

Sudhir has a Master's of Science in engineering with focus in Construction Management from San Jose State University.
